Bas van Gellecum started the company in 1965 and commits himself to the blowing on neon glass. As the son of master glass blower Wilhelm van Gellecum (1911-1961), he knows the knacks of the trade. These he passed on to a new generation of glass blowers, who made Bas Neon along with him and his son Remko, to the success it is today.
Bas Neon has become more than a neon producer since then. Almost everything is produced within the own workshop, and in manual labour, Bas is unsurpassed. Technological innovations are closely followed. By using environmentally sound techniques, Bas has been able to reduce the paint spraying with 80%.
